Title: Automatic start-up of stoker plant The area of production
The present invention relates to a solid fuel boiler in which a fan mounted on an air supply duct feeds combustion air to the boiler, where the combustion air 5 is blown through a grate in the boiler's combustion chamber and the boiler is provided with a fuel ignition device.
Description of prior art
It is generally known, among other things, ffa JP 2 000 234 716 that a solid fuel boiler 10 can be started by means of an ignition system built into the bottom of the boiler. JP 2 000 234 716 uses a system in which wet fuel is heated with an unspecified device and in which combustion air is supplied via nozzles in the bottom of the boiler. When the wet fuel is sufficiently heated, it ignites and the combustion is maintained with the combustion air supplied.
15
From other types of solid-fuel boilers with so-called stoker plants, where, for example, wood pellets, granules or the like are fired, it is also known to have ignition systems in the combustion chamber. Particularly known is having an electric heater located in or above the grate on which the fuel is placed. This heater heats the fuel 20 while supplying an appropriate amount of combustion air and after a while the fuel self-ignites.
One of the disadvantages of such a system is that the heater has to be in direct contact with the fuel, which means that when the boiler is switched on and in operation, the heater is constantly exposed to boiler temperature. This massive heat effect eventually destroys the heater, which must therefore be replaced regularly, which of course does not help to make the use of such a plant more comfortable and reliable.
It is the object of the invention to provide a solid fuel boiler with automatic ignition of added fuel where the ignition system is robust and reliable.

Description of the production
A solid fuel boiler, for example, a stoker system for the automatic firing of, for example, wooden pellets, cereals, olive stones or other solid fuel according to the invention, is provided with at least one blower, where the blower is mounted on an air supply duct and where an oil firing system with nozzle and ignition unit is arranged. With such a solution, the immediate advantage is obtained that fuel of either kind can be ignited quickly, easily and effortlessly. The fact that the oil-fired system is located in the air supply duct means that the system is protected against the high temperatures of the combustion chamber and is therefore not destroyed. Furthermore, there is the great advantage that ignition occurs quickly, since it is not necessary to heat the fuel and subsequently self-ignite, but on the other hand there is a direct ignition of the fuel with flames arising in the grate openings in the combustion chamber.
For optimum ignition and safety, sensors are located in the combustion chamber that interrupt the ignition process when there is a fire in the fuel. Quite a few minutes are needed to ignite a stoker plant where wood pellets are fired. Likewise, the system may be equipped with sensors that detect if there is fuel in the combustion chamber. If for some reason no fuel is present, the ignition process is not performed.
With an oil-fired system it is possible to stop and start a stoker system as needed, even without being present. If for some reason there are problems with the plant, for example no fuel or poor combustion, then the plant may be arranged to give feedback of some form.
A preferred variant of a solid fuel boiler with oil fired system according to the invention is with a fuel tank and with an oil pump, the oil pump being preferably driven by an electric motor. To power up the boiler, the oil pump powered by an electric motor must be started, but the system is arranged so that the oil fired system cannot be started until a fan supplying combustion air is turned on. In this way, a guarantee is obtained that the system cannot be misused.
In a preferred variant of a solid fuel boiler according to the invention, the oil fired system can be started and / or stopped automatically. This can be controlled electronically, where the electronic signal may come from either an on / off clock, a thermostat, a telephone call or in some other known manner.
A solid fuel boiler according to the invention is made in a particularly preferred variant such that the nozzle and ignition unit of the oil fired system are located outside the boiler's combustion chamber and in the immediate vicinity of the combustion chamber grate. A major advantage of the oil-fired system being located inside the air supply duct is that the air flow acts coolly on the oil-fired system, since the air temperature in the air supply duct is very close to the temperature in the room in which the solid fuel boiler is located.
A particularly preferred variant of the generation is where the oil fired system is supplied with combustion air from the boiler fan. By using the fan that is already on the boiler, a simplification of the system is achieved, while at the same time lowering it.
Brief description of the drawing
The invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which F1G. 1 schematically shows a boiler with an air supply duct and with an oil burning system for igniting fuel.
Detailed description of the production
FIG. 1, as mentioned, schematically shows a boiler 1 with a combustion chamber 2, in which a grate 3 is placed in the combustion chamber 2 which is connected to a blower via an air supply duct 5. The grate 3 is provided with a number of openings 6 through which the combustion air is supplied. when the boiler 1 is in operation. During start-up where fuel is to be ignited, the system's oil-fired system 7 is used with the fan 5, and as the oil-fired system 7 runs, flames rise through the grate openings 6, which quickly ignite the fuel material located on the grate 3.
The oil firing system 7, which is in principle similar to an ordinary oil furnace as they are known from boilers for heating single-family houses and the like, consists essentially of an oil container 8, an oil pump 9, a nozzle 10 and an ignition unit 11 capable of igniting the oil. there DK 2007 00051 U3 4 is pressed through the nozzle 10. The start of oil pump 9 and ignition of the atomized oil are done automatically in the same way as is known from other oil fired solutions.
The oil fired system 7 does not have its own fan in the shown embodiment, but cooperates with the boiler fan 5, which can possibly operate at several speeds.
The system can also be equipped with various sensors which ensure that the system is running optimally and cannot be started if not all operating conditions are in order and which also stops the system if the operating conditions are no longer in order.
